Current position or career path:

After earning a PhD in Microbiology from UW–Madison, Carolina jumped straight into the local industry scene and joined Promega as a Research Scientist IV. Yes, without a postdoc! Carolina’s team focuses on transferring technologies from the primary research groups towards large scale production. The part she enjoys the most about her job is that she develops new technologies to advance everyone’s science.

Focus on transferable skills and forming connections before you need a job.
