On Saturday, April 12, graduate and postdoctoral students from across campus gathered for the 2025 Life Sciences Career Day (LSCD)—a hallmark event dedicated to exploring diverse career opportunities within the biological sciences.
Since its founding by faculty in the Department of Bacteriology in 1995, LSCD has connected students with renowned professionals representing fields such as science communication, biotechnology, biomedical research, academia, and government. This year’s event continued that legacy, offering students a chance to network directly with experts, gain valuable advice, and explore potential career paths.
Despite students’ diverse backgrounds and interests, LSCD provided an inspiring environment to ask questions, share ideas, and make meaningful connections.
