Current position description: I began as a scientist at a peptide therapeutics startup immediately out of grad school, and I have since worked with colleagues to grow and scale our technology as we have since been acquired by a large global pharmaceutical company.

Advice for current trainees: Networking with your peers (other grad students and post docs) is just as important than networking with professors and CEOs. Peers a few years ahead of you will get jobs and be in a position to recommend you by the time you are on the job market.
