Current position description: Since completing graduate work at UCSF and a postdoctoral fellowship at UCSD, I have worked as a Senior Research Scientist at Promega Corporation. My main focus has been on developing tools and technologies to study protein dynamics in more physiologically relevant contexts, especially using CRISPR-mediated insertion of small reporter tags. Since joining Promega in 2011, I have served as the technical lead for the launch of products such as the Nano-Glo® Dual-Luciferase® Reporter System, HiBiT Protein Tagging Technology, the Anti-HiBiT Monoclonal Antibody, and the ViaScript™ mRNA Transfection Reagent.
