Current position description: My focus at Abbot is in the Diagnostics division. I currently manage multiple teams working to develop a novel method to screen blood donations to ensure a safe blood supply. We work from concept to launch, from design through clinical testing. I work with a wide cross-functional team to realize the complexities that go in to product development.

Advice for trainees: Do not worry that your next step will dictate your future career path–change is investible.
