Education/degrees:

BA Chemistry, St. Olaf College PhD Chemistry, UW–Madison

Current position or career path:

I work within the Synthetic Molecule Design and Development (SMDD) organization at Eli Lilly. SMDD supports both early and late phase process development for small molecules, synthetic peptides, and synthetic siRNAs. Currently, I work in drug product (finished dosage form) analytical development for small molecules.

Advice for current graduate students and postdocs:

Don’t forget that while you’re a grad student or postdoc, you’re also a person! You’ll be just as busy once you start a job, so don’t put off the things that are important to you/life events just because you’re busy in lab.
